Last month I had the honor to accompany the fabulous Tampa wedding photographer Stephanie A Smith Photography to Maine to photograph a ‘high profile’ wedding (sorry y’all, can’t say who it was!).
Stephanie took me around Kennebunkport, Maine while we were there. Her dad has a home there (and I was obsessed with the nautical wall paper in the kitchen!!) so we arrived a few days early and a stayed for a couple of days after the wedding to explore, hike, and drink NOT maxwell house coffee (-; I also had some damn good mac n cheese.
The Wedding Cake House.
Steph told me about this on our drive from Portland to Kennebunkport and we stumbled upon it while on our way to a hike on our last day. The first thing I saw was the roof coming over the trees and knew we were about to pass an amazing piece of Victorian architecture so of course, I yelled out for her to stop the car. It just stinks because its a private home so we couldn’t even go inside )-:
It sure feels like fall in Charleston now, but at the end of September, this was my first sign of it in Maine!
I was obsessed with the leaves. I haven’t experienced a proper Fall in a while, you know, living in Florida for half my life.
I have an obsession with libraries. The older, the better in my book! I was also showing Stephanie how awesome my 40mm lens was (-; I think I sold her on it.
Stephanie loves these two photos I took of her in the woods…
…but I love these two ;-P
Im not much of a travel documenter, sadly. I wish I was! I’ll try to get better at it, but Jay is the one who stops every 5 feet to take a photo when we go somewhere. For me, I need people in my photos!
