Sydney & Mark’s French Huguenot Church Wedding | Charleston SC
This wedding was featured on The Wedding Row
Sydney & Marks French Huguenot Church wedding in Charleston oozed romance and fun. From their sage green, gold, and blush pink color palette to their candle lit reception to the ice cream cart and St Patricks Day goodies handed out at the reception (they tied the knot on St Patricks Day)! Sydney wore a gorgeous Pronovias wedding gown and Mark donned his dress blues. I love that Sydney’s sisters wore floral print skirts and the bridesmaids wore dusty blue floor length dresses. After the ceremony at the pink French Huguenot Church, where Sydney’s brother walked her down the aisle, the reception got underway at The Mills House Hotel with cocktail hour in the courtyard. My favorite detail was super small – it was their drink stirrers! Sydney & Mark had a gold foil imprint of their pup Shelby on them! I love that they got to still include her in some way on the wedding day. After dancing for the first time as husband and wife, Mark danced with his mom at the same time Sydney danced with her brother before Mark’s father cut in. It was an emotional dance for everyone. Guests got to enjoy an ice cream cart and a photo booth inside an old VW Bus and towards the end of the reception, Mac and B events handed out St Patricks Day themed party decor before guests sent off the bride and groom with silver streamer poppers!
Congratulations Sydney & Mark!
