Lindsay & Will’s Beacon Hill Boston Engagement Photos
I love traveling to new places for engagement shoots & weddings! While I ADORE shooting in Charleston I do think its nice when our destination couples get to have photos of themselves in the places THEY live…we’re already going to have Charleston be the backdrop for their wedding photos so why not mix it up and have engagement pictures done where you live? Unless they hate where they live…then nevermind.
Luckily, Lindsay & Will are enjoying life in Boston (they’re southern transplants) and lets be honest, Fall in Boston is the best time! I’ve been to Boston about 5 times now and its only ever been in the month of October! When Lindsay & Will booked us for their Charleston wedding and told me they lived in Boston I knew I wanted to offer to shoot their engagement session there while we were in town for my best friends wedding and they agreed (-: They enjoy getting to explore their “new” historic city (but are still getting used to the snow) and they chose Beacon Hill as their engagement session location because they love all the historic brownstones.
Lindsay lived in Charleston for several years while Will and she were dating. They loved exploring the Holy City together and have many fond memories from their time there, so it only made sense for them to get married there. They started dating shortly before graduating college have now been together for 10 years!
We’re excited for their Charleston wedding at the Mills House Hotel in February!
