Lulu & Andrew are one of the sweetest couples we have ever photographed – their colorful Chinese-Irish wedding in Charleston at the Thomas Bennett House was wedding #3 for them and Andrew still teared up during the first look and Lulu cried during the ceremony & toasts! They tied the knot in Northern Ireland (Andrew’s home) and in China (where Lulu is from) before bringing everyone together in Charleston for the final I Do’s!

I was in pure heaven when I arrived to start shooting – all of the details were colorful, meaningful, and well thought out. They chose one of my favorite historic venues, the Thomas Bennett House, everything was outside, including the candle lit dinner in the secret garden under chandeliers, they shared a first look & had an intimate bridal party and they gave me so much time to capture everything that they wanted! Which meant I was able to shoot a lot of film (-; So like 80% of this post is made up of film photos! Lulu & Andrew also brought along their little dog, Cooper, to be a part of the day. Andrew’s niece walked Cooper down the aisle and he was a very good boy throughout the service.

What I loved most about their wedding day though was seeing just how loved they are by their friends and family. People came from literally all over the world to celebrate with them and it was a 50 person affair!
