Meet Hannah and Austin, two stylish lovebirds from Tennessee who traveled all the way to Charleston, SC for their engagement session. And let me tell you, they did not disappoint! They were both so laid-back and easygoing, and they had this energy between them that was just infectious.
Hannah was wearing this short gorgeous champagne colored dress with layers that was just made for twirling (as you’ll soon see)! Every time she spun around, it was like something out of a movie. And Austin was looking sharp in his crisp, white button down shirt and black dress pants. The guy knows how to dress, let me tell you!
We started off the session taking some shots in front of the historic St Philips church off of Church St that Charleston is famous for before moving to the colorful historic homes on Chalmers St that provided the perfect backdrop for Hannah and Austin’s stylish outfits, and we got some great shots of them strolling hand-in-hand down the cobblestone streets! How she walked in heels on those, I’ll never know.
But the highlight of the session came when they pulled out a bottle of champagne – I mean, who doesn’t love a fun champagne pop? We found the perfect spot at the end of Chalmers Street, and Austin popped the bottle while Hannah stood next to him and danced with the champagne flutes.
As soon as the cork popped, the champagne started flowing, and we got some amazing & fun shots of Hannah and Austin clinking glasses (and Hannah chugging straight from the bottle). That’s the key to a great engagement session – just having fun and letting your personalities shine through!
After we finished up with the champagne, they changed into a second outfit before we headed towards the Battery and Rainbow Row for some sunset shots.
