Kasey & Nick’s Magic Kingdom Engagement Pictures

I met up with these two & Kasey’s family at one of my favorite coffee spots in town and when we started talking about engagement session locations I mentioned that they didnt HAVE to do it Charleston. We tossed around the idea of California (where Nick will be stationed for a bit) but then Kasey realized he has to get his head shaved so that idea got shelved.

Then Kasey’s mom asked about Disney since they were going the next month. Ummm talk about the stars aligning! Jay & I already had a Disney tripped planned for the same week!

We met up with them at Magic Kingdom early in the morning before the heavy crowds started and we walked around Main Street & Fantasyland taking beautiful photos on film! I think all of our favorite part was the Mickey Ice Cream (-;

Kasey on how Nick popped the question:
“Nick popped the question at the Cistern Yard and the College of Charleston. We passed that place at the end of our first date and I mentioned how beautiful it was. He waited until a big group had left and it was basically just us in that park. He just turned to me and held my hands and told how much he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. It was a perfect moment since it was very us, awkward and adorable. I did slightly know that it was coming, we had been talking about it but I was not expecting him to propose for a couple more months. I figured it out that he actually had the ring but I had no idea how or where he was going to propose. However, that night I picked up on his nervous energy and he was quieter than usual. I originally wanted to do something else that night but he insisted that we go check out the lights that night so I kinda felt like he was up to something so I went along with it.”

Maybe I’ll see a Disney detail or two at their Magnolia Plantation Carriage House wedding later this year (-;
