Key West FL Photos on Film

Last month we had a destination wedding in Key West FL and spent a few days on the island! It was my fourth time in Key West but it was Jay’s first time! This guy lived in FL for over 30 years and had never been to the Southern Most Point. In his defense he said why should he had driven 8 hours to get to a beach when he lived 30 minutes from one in Tampa, when he could drive 8 hours and get out of Florida and see some mountains….touche my darling.

Jokes on him though because he fucking loved Key West and wants to live there (um no, Florida is for vacationing, this is why we moved away!).

We spent most of the trip with my parents who came down with us (I dont know if you know this but Key West is hella expensive) and we wandered around the historic district, visited the Fort and mostly hung out by the pool at our hotel.

My favorite things we did was the Hemingway House and seeing all of the six toed kitties, and on our final day Jay and I got up super early and took an uber to Cuban Coffee Queen so I could shoot the mural – but we got dropped off at the wrong one! We had a nice 15 minute stroll through some quiet neighborhoods and we walked to the correct spot (-;

Jay had been hardcore craving a good Cuban sandwhich and I think you can see the joy pretty well on his face in the photo I got of him eating it at 7am!
