Fall Engagement Session in Downtown Charleston

Sara and Richard first met in high school while Sara was visiting her childhood best friend, who was one of Richard’s best friends in high school! They didnt keep in touch but 3 years later they reconnected through the same friend when they both visited her college the same weekend and hit it off!

For their first date, Richard had an interview in Louisville and drove 90 minutes out of his way to visit Sara and take her to Olive Garden – those bread sticks are most definitely the fastest way to a ladies heart.

From Sara on how Richard popped the question:
We planned a vacation to Charleston this past spring. Richard surreptitiously arranged to have a photographer meet us in White Point Gardens before dinner one evening while we explored south of Broad. Richard really wanted pictures of the actual proposal and figured it would be one of the 3 times I would ever agree to have my picture taken professionally (actual engagement, engagement session, wedding). I was totally surprised!
