“Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!! SO EXCITING!! Katie, these photos couldn’t be more perfect. You are amazing and we are SO lucky we had you on our big day!!” – Elizabeth
I have been waiting for what feels like forever to show y’all Elizabeth & Cory’s destination wedding at The Postcard Inn St Pete beach!! These two are SUCH a joy, they were smiling & laughing all day long. Wait until you see Cory’s reaction from the first look (-;
Liz & Cory met while working at Martha Stewart Weddings, where she was an editor and he was a web developer. In September of 2014, we shot their engagement session in Central Park since they live in NYC!
The Postcard Inn on the Beach was the perfect spot for their intimate destination wedding. They wanted a venue that felt laid back with a vintage beach vibe, and that certainly describes the Postcard Inn! This non-traditional, relaxed, simple wedding was full of love, laughter, friendship and lots of pretty Martha Stewart details. With only 30 guests in attendance (and almost half of them being in the bridal party!) if felt like a “very special night spent with family & friends, having dinner and drinks, and oh, by the way, they got married too.”

The bridal suite walls matched perfectly with Liz & Cory’s seaglass blue color scheme!
I loved Liz’s BHLDN gown and head crown!
They had so many personalized details for their guests. I loved this Maid of Honor shirt they got for Katie, Liz’s best friend (who is a fellow Catherine called Katie!!)
How gorgeous is this bouquet from 2Bird Events?
Their wedding weekend schedule was a super cute touch
Groomswoman Ashley pops in to help the boys get ready
I love when people pull up videos to help tie wedding gown sashes and bow ties! They’ll look back on this and laugh (-;
One of my favorite groom reactions to date!!
Cory’s family watched from a balcony for a few minutes
They were helping me test the light…they were fabulous!
This girl was a riot!
How adorable are these shades?! A must for any beach wedding
I thought it was so sweet that they gave their mothers a flower at the start of the ceremony
I kinda want to know what they were talking about!
They’re just so happy to be married!
Hmm I might have to start doing more ‘run at me with all you’ve got!’ photos…they’re so fun!
I’ve never signed someone else’s marriage license before! I felt so honored that they asked us to do it (-; And yes…we dressed in their colors!
The chair decor was handmade by Liz & maid of honor Katie
Hands on Sweets has outdone themselves once again! Mini cakes for each guest!
Ok I have to brag about how amazing and kind Liz & Cory are; they GAVE us one of these instax minis at the end of the night with a pack of film!! How awesome?! You bet I’ll be using the crap out of it (-;
I loved their guestbook idea of guests taking a photo with the Instax and then slipping it into the album. Such a special way to see who was there!
Such an intimate setting; dinner and drinks under the trees and lanterns with your closest friends and family
So fun!!
