A & P’s Colorful Spring Wedding at the William Aiken House | Charleston SC
Day 2 of A & P’s Colorful Spring Wedding Wedding took place at the William Aiken House. This day was for the American wedding ceremony. They had the same bright color scheme of burgundy, gold, blush, and hot pink. I died over A’s gorgeous gown – it had gold threaded flowers on it! A and her bridal party got ready in the red room on the upper floor of the house. She surprised her phenomenal wedding planners with cute mugs that had bees on them. While they did a first look for the Hindu ceremony, they chose not to see each other beforehand on this day, but they did want to do a first touch. A & her father did share a first look which had them both tearing up.
The ceremony took place on the lawn with the pergola as their backdrop, draped with florals. During their ceremony, A & P mixed white & red wine to make a rosé which they then shared – I’ve never seen a wine mixing during a ceremony before!
The sister duo of The Busy Bee Events & Design did such a fantastic job putting together A & P’s dream wedding! The florals by Branch were to die for, there were so many candles (I love candle lit receptions) and each guest had their name card attached to a pink rock candy stick dipped into a champagne glass! Everyone danced their butts off under a clear tent and floral chandeliers thanks to The Midnight City Band.
