Melanie & Jeffs Colorful Spring Charleston Wedding
Melanie & Jeff are two of the kindest, funniest, happiest people I’ve ever met! They hired us for their intimate wedding a month before, so when I informed Jay that we had a wedding on April 9th he told me he couldnt help me out because he was hosting a disc golf tournament! Luckily, I have awesome photographer friends and my girl Taylor stepped up to help me shoot this one (-: Shes the first person to second shoot for me besides Jay! She told me that a few days after the wedding Jeff sent her a sweet email thanking her for helping out and if that just doesnt tell you what kind of couple Mel & Jeff are, then Im not sure what else I can say to you.
I met Mel & Jeff at their rental home on Kiawah Island where they shared a private first look on the boardwalk behind the house. Jeff right off the bat made Taylor & I laugh as we were setting him up and he was just cracking jokes the entire day, including during the portraits which gave us some AHmazing reactions!
Their bridal party consisted of their 4 children and I loved seeing this new family of 6 standing up at the ceremony together. Melanie & Jeff held their ceremony on the golf course over looking the Atlantic Ocean. Kiawah Ocean Course was already a very special place to them – they have been going to Kiawah Island for 3+ years for family vacations and they got engaged at the Ocean Course. They really loved the beautiful open location with beach and grass, and the classic look of the Clubhouse.
