Some of My Favorite Details From Heila & Matt’s Cannon Green Wedding

🌙 Heila’s entire bridal look! Her shoes were so gorgeous & her wedding gown was AMAZING. She told me in the van on the way to the first look that it was actually the second dress she bought & she scored it for an amazing deal from a bride in Australia who had worn it to her own wedding!

🌙 The Air BnB that Heila got ready at. It was an old house in Downtown Charleston and the rooms were spacious and had amazing light!

🌙 Instead of having bridesmaids help her get dressed, Heila had her mom, grandma & Matt’s mom help her! It was so special!

🌙 Some behind the scenes moments I won’t be forgetting anytime soon while we were taking portraits. Jay made a really stupid comment about a “historic” lamp post as I was taking portraits of them and Matt laughed so hard which created one of my favorite photos of the day!

🌙 They asked a friend to marry them (and he made everyone laugh a lot!) & then Heila got to break the glass to honor her Jewish heritage

🌙 All of the thoughtful details! They really wanted their guests to feel special and be entertained at the reception. They worked SUPER hard on a polaroid escort card display which was polaroid photos of their guests!! Jay got a lot of great pics of the guests finding themselves and reacting to it!

🌙 Since they got married the day before Halloween the cocktail hour champagne flutes had little ghost cut outs & some had clear vampire fangs that guests enjoyed playing with

🌙 During the reception they did the Hora & at one point a guest was invited up by the band to sing a song and everyone crowded around and cheered him on!
