Jessica & Peter’s Stylish Charleston Engagement
Jessica & Peter’s Charleston engagement session was a good reminder that when something goes wrong you just gotta go with the flow! We were originally supposed to do their shoot in October but it turned out to be a rainy day. Luckily the sun was shining on our new date BUT we ALL forgot that it was Veterans Day! Oops. It sure was an adventure trying to find parking & get to where we all needed to be! Poor Peter even got yelled at trying to get to the salon Jessica was at since he needed to cross the parade street!
We all eventually met up (45 minutes late and not at our original location choice) but these two were champs and had smiles on their faces and were ready to go! We changed up our route slightly, only going to one of our original choices out of 3. We had two hours and three outfit changes AND three bottles of champagne for picture purposes (-; Our final champagne shot was all of our favorite!
Jessica on how Peter popped the question:
“This past summer we took a 2 week vacation to Spain. While we were in Ibiza, Peter did some research online and found a book called “Secret Beaches Ibiza”. He called a local store and they had the book! We mapped out our day of secret beach spots while eating lunch and then hopped on the four wheeler. We arrived at the third beach at sunset. We sat on a cliff that overlooked the beach – this particular beach you had to swim to, to get there. He asked me to stand up so we could take a photo – like we did at each beach – and that was when #PeteTookAKneeInIbiza (haha)”
Jay & I cant wait to capture their Costa Rica celebration this summer! Peter lived & worked in Costa Rica so its a special place to them <3
