I am so happy and excited to share this wedding with y’all!! Natalie and I have known each other for a few years (oh dang, at least 5 at this point!) and she was always a willing model whenever I wanted to get out of the house and try something fun back in Tampa. Im so incredibly honored that she asked Jay & I to document this new chapter in her life. She and Mike are just amazing, and their daughter McKenna will just melt your heart! We became besties during the course of the wedding day (-;
Originally, Natalie and Mike thought to do the wedding in Key West (they love the beach) but decided on The White Room in St Augustine, the city where Mike proposed to Natalie for her 23rd birthday! We had what was quite possibly the best french toast of our lives during their brunch reception…and I live in Charleston. So thats really saying something!
They truly made the wedding about them and their love. Their officiant was Natalie’s best friends father, and he gave such a heart felt (and really funny) speech about Natalie and Mike, and even little McKenna. I think its so special when you ask someone who personally knows you to preside over the ceremony. They can really speak from the heart and it makes it more memorable. Natalie loves Disney (Ariel is her favorite princess…go ahead and tell me she doesnt resemble her at least a little bit!), so they incorporated that into their seating chart, using great Disney couples silhouettes on the seating chart. The cake topper was a laser cutout of Natalie, Mike, McKenna, and mini aussie Rigby (who was unable to attend the festivities). Natalie included memory charms on her bouquet of those who have passed on which is a nice way to remember loved ones.

Ahh, Im in love with her blue Badgley Mischka shoes!

The bridesmaids robes and customized coffee cups are just the cutest!

This is one of my favorite photos of the day because of the pure joy on Natalie’s face!

A few months before the wedding, Nat sent me a photo of the house they were all getting ready at and immediately knew I wanted to get this pre-first look photo of everyone on the porches!

And then this happened…I guess scaling a building is faster than taking the stairs

Jay said it was so weird to be in a city that was older than Charleston. Did you know we considered relocating to St Augustine before we ever visited Charleston? The Lightner Museum (building in the photo below) is one of my favorites in the whole city!

These ladies are so smart. They wore flip flops to walk to the location and then switched into heels for photos.

We call this one: Mikes GQ Audition

Jay nailed this shot! I love it!

McKenna is so adorable and why dont they make her dress in adult size?!

They call me…The Baby Whisperer

What a beauty

And here we see a handsome stud

You know I had to take a photo of the seating chart with Rapunzel and Flynn Rider (-;

One of us usually hangs back with the bride, her father, and the bridesmaids because we get awesome happy shots like this right before they walk down the aisle!

The White Room gives a stunning view of the water and St Augustine lighthouse

This talented girl was playing Disney songs (-:

Giving coffee cups as wedding favors for a brunch wedding is brilliant!
