Taylor & Brad’s National Mall Engagement Photos in Washington D.C.

We LOVEEE destination engagement sessions! Being able to take photos in a location that is super special to our couples is one of the best parts of our job! Sure, sometimes that place is our home here in Charleston, but when you’re getting married here, its kinda nice to get your engagement photos where YOU live.

Taylor & Brad are getting married on our anniversary so when they inquired I was like “yes, let’s be marriage buddies!!!”.

The icing on the cake is that they’re doing it at the Mills House which is my FAVORITE spot in town for photos (pink walls & gas lamps are an esthetic, ok?!).

When they asked us if we’d be willing to come up to Washington D.C. for their engagement photos we were super pumped to go back! 

National Mall Engagement Photos

Originally we had a sunrise shoot planned for the National Mall but at the last minute we ended up moving it to sunset photos for the day before because it was gonna be rainy all day on our original planned date.

Lucky for us, the National Mall wasn’t nearly as crowded as usual (because of Covid) so it was super easy to shoot at. Afterwards, we went to Georgetown for some snacks & wedding talk with the guys!
