Rain Didn’t Stop Them From Celebrating
Well, we got Molly & Sinuhe married the month before in the rain, so now it was time to partyyyyyy in the rain – New Years Eve style!
Like a NYE firework, Molly wore a stunning metallic dress that shimmered where ever she turned (and turned heads too) but before that, she danced and jumped on the bed with her wedding party in sunglasses and feather boas. I love that she asked her wedding party to dress in metallics too – of course, her brother showed up in a black sequin suit and silver boots which was tons of fun to photograph with my star filter!
We were once again racing the clock, the weather, and the early winter sunset to get some fun portraits before everyone got to relax for a good hour before all of the guests started to arrive for cocktail hour. The guest list this time was much larger – though still having lots of the same friendly faces as the ceremony day – and they came ready to celebrate, dance, and party till midnight!
Molly & Sinuhe loveee games so they not only had a space set up outside for guests to take a break to play classics like Uno but they played a rowdy relationship game featuring their wedding party who had to pick sides when a question was asked about the couple! It was hilarious.
Sadly, it was SO foggy out that no fireworks went off at midnight, but that didn’t stop everyone from running outside with a glass of champagne to scream out the countdown, share a kiss, and cheers the newlyweds and the new year!
