Do you have the Luck of the Irish on your side? Hibernian Hall is a historic meeting hall and social venue built in 1840 for the Irish benevolent society.
Honoring the organization’s founders, the building also includes stone from Ireland’s Giant’s Causeway, as well as an Irish harp carved in the panel above the main door, and discreetly placed within the iron gates!

GET READY AT?
The hotel that is Instagram Famous for being pink and lovely is right next door! Yes, The Mills House Hotel is directly next door so all you have to do is walk out the door and you'll be at Hibernian Hall!
You could also get ready at historic inns & air bnbs near by as well. We do recommend finding somewhere in downtown Charleston instead of off the Peninsula.

WHERE SHOULD WE HAVE THE CEREMONY & WHAT TIME DO YOU RECOMMEND?
I'll be honest, I'm not sure you can have your ceremony on site, but ask your planner!
If you want an outdoor wedding, check out 62 Broad Street which is across the street with an entrance on Chalmers Street.
An indoor option could be The Gibbes Museum a few doors down off of Meeting Street.

RECEPTION OPTIONS?
Receptions & the cocktail hour are usually held on the second floor and WOW.
Its huge.
So this place is perfect for couples who want a big band (there's a giant stage) and think they’ll have tons of people dancing.
While the space has lots of original details, you can still totally make it your own design!

SHOULD WE PLAN
TO TAKE PORTRAITS?
There are SO MANY great locations steps away from Hibernian Hall! My personal favorite is Chalmers Street, directly across but if you want more greenery, White Point Gardens is a quick car ride down the road.
Plan to take photos for 2 hours before the ceremony regardless of if you're doing a First Look or not.
