We originally planned to stay in Ireland for the entire 3 week duration of the trip, but about 2 weeks before we left, we decided to jump over to England for a week to spend some time with my moms cousin Matthew & his family! I got to see London twice and Matthew & his wife Isabel took us to the Lake District which was super beautiful. His brother Alistair was doing a bike tour through the country so we were up there to see him.
While we had a really lovely time over there and we’re dying to go back, I will say that I absolutely loathe Ryan Air.
London
I liked London but its definitely very similar to New York City

Some of my pictures are out of focus because I was nervous I would be in the way of some rushing office workers. Whoops! Its cool though – I can get away with soft focus when its on film (-;

Theres this thing called The Monument which is over 300 years old and when you get to the top, you get this view!

This is Luton Hoo. It used to belong to the Queens cousin but now its a hotel! We’d love to photography a Luton Hoo wedding (-:

Lake District
Oh the Lake District!! I was so looking forward to this part of the trip and it didn’t disappoint! This whole area was what I was envisioning England to be like – quiet, quaint village steeped in history.

These sweet boys were selling homemade cookies and soda at the peak of the hill!

Lingholm Estate
Isabel and I hiked back down the hill and stumbled upon Lingholm Estate which is where Beatrix Potter spent some summers and wrote Peter Rabbit!

Oxford
Oxford is actually what I was expecting London to look like. We went here with Matthew’s other brother Dave and my friend Ashlee who happened to be in England at the end of our trip!

A horrible photo of me, but heres me and Ashlee!
