Champagne Dreams and College Romance: Hannah-Leigh and Ryan’s Engagement at CofC

Charleston, with its vibrant energy and historic charm, was the ideal setting for Hannah-Leigh and Ryan’s engagement photos. Not only is it where Hannah-Leigh went to college, but Ryan even proposed at her alumni, the College of Charleston! So of course, we had to head back to this special location for their engagement photos.

Hannah-Leigh attended College of Charleston for dance, even gracing national stages like the Macy’s Day Parade. Meanwhile, Ryan showed off his athletic prowess on the baseball fields of Kentucky. But since they didn’t attend the same college, they met at a bar, where Ryan’s best friend from college introduced them!

The moment they popped that champagne bottle, it was like their love was bubbling over with joy and excitement! And the photos we took at the church where they’ll exchange their vows another day? College of Charleston: The Perfect Backdrop for Their Engagement Pictures

College of Charleston has one of the most picturesque campuses I’ve ever seen, with the Cistern taking center stage. And Ryan felt the same because that’s where he proposed while they were in town for Christmas! He schemed with Hannah-Leigh’s mom and sister, who got her to get dressed up “for a fancy Christmas dinner” and then Ryan asked her to take a walk with him before dinner at CofC. Hannah-Leigh said she was completely clueless until Ryan got down on one knee!

It wasn’t just about the gorgeous location and breathtaking scenery (although they were a total bonus). The real magic happened when Hannah-Leigh and Ryan stepped in front of the camera. Their playful and carefree personalities brought so much sass and charm to each and every shot. I’m talking laughter-filled moments, stolen kisses, and even some cheeky teasing between them.
