A Dreamy Purple Garden Wedding at the Legare Waring House
Chelsea & Anthony’s outdoor garden wedding was so dreamy & full of soft purples, pinks and light blues! They loved the landscape and greenery at Legare Waring House along with the picturesque house and patio overlooking water where they had their cocktail hour.
Getting Ready at Legare Waring
Chelsea has some amazing friends – they were basically walking around and hyping her up all morning, taking as many photos and videos with her as they could! I even helped film a TikTok haha
1st Look & Portraits
I loveeeed this circular floral arch that was being set up for their ceremony so I really wanted to do their first look in front of it! Anthony had a necklace he was surprising Chelsea with – and we had even schemed together at the engagement session last summer on when the best time to give it to her would be! I suggested during the First Look and that was definitely the best choice since he got to see her reaction and help her put it on!
Wedding Ceremony with Circle Floral Arch
When I saw that Andrya was the florist I KNEW it was gonna be a beautiful setup!! She did our wedding flowers after all (-; She knocked it outa of the park with the flroal arch and aisle decor!
Buuuut my favorite floral detail is gonna have to be the petal exit! Because Im a sucker for those things.
A Stunning Purple Garden Inspired Wedding Reception
I remember Anthony looking at the reception space and going “WOW…this looks INCREDIBLE” and sir…spot on commentary. It WAS incredible! Pure Luxe Bride is the best at bringing your vision to life! Everyone was obsessed with the floral arrangement adorning the fountain!
If you did a First Look, talk about it here! What made it special, how were you both feeling before & after it, would you recommend it to a friend, etc
It was definitely worth it! It took the nerves out of the ceremony and we could focus on our self written vows and appreciate the ceremony details. If Anthony didn’t have a first look he would have been tearing through the whole ceremony and unable to say anything lol. Before we were both feeling nervous to see each other but excited to spend some time without others around. Most of the wedding was surrounded by other people and it was great to just be alone for a few minutes. After we both felt excited to move on with the ceremony but thankful to have had time alone. Definitely recommend!!
What made your wedding day special, unique or personalized to you as a couple?
We had personalized vows, was COVID conscious with personalized disposable masks, our wedding favors were chocolate bars from a hometown chocolatier with our pets on the wrapper.
Whats the best advice you have for future couples planning their big day?
Get a planner! Especially if you are not local. Really helped with having busy schedules and taking lots of the guess work out. Also have fun and enjoy wedding for yourself- it’s not just for your guests!
What did you love most about working with us?
You both were great at helping us feel comfortable with getting our picture taken (and we hate taking pictures of ourselves). You Both listened to things we would like to focus on for pictures and are very responsive to email communication.
